With Adrian Wojnarowski retiring from ESPN, speculation has arisen about who will fill his role as the network’s top NBA insider. Wojnarowski is leaving to become the general manager of the men’s basketball program at St. Bonaventure.

Wojnarowski’s departure creates a significant vacancy, given his immense influence and large following. The 55-year-old will now focus on overseeing Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) allocations, recruiting, and supporting Bonnies coach Mark Schmidt.

Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reports that Shams Charania and Chris Haynes are the leading candidates to succeed Wojnarowski.
