Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI 6.1.1 update to older Galaxy devices. This update introduces several improvements, including a redesigned dynamic audio equalizer interface. The new design not only enhances usability but also gives the equalizer a more elegant appearance.

Revamped Audio Equalizer Interface

One of the major changes in One UI 6.1.1 is the revamp of the audio equalizer interface. The updated UI features preset options in a new “chip” format, replacing the older list format. These preset chips now appear below the equalizer adjustment sliders, providing more space for users to interact with the sliders.

The equalizer is an important feature for Galaxy users, as it allows them to fine-tune their audio experience. Users can access the equalizer through Settings → Sounds and vibration → Sound quality and effects → Equalizer. It offers a range of preset options as well as the ability to customize the settings from scratch.

With the updated design, the extra space from removing the list format gives the sliders more room for adjustment. Samsung has also added brief descriptions at the bottom of the UI for each preset, making it easier for users to understand the audio effects of each setting.
