  1. Sneak up directly behind your target. This ensures that you catch them off guard, reducing the risk of them reacting before you can initiate the grab.
  2. Quickly double-tap the melee button to grab the enemy. You will automatically position them in front of you as a human shield, absorbing incoming damage.

Upon grabbing your target, you will have the option to quickly dispatch them or perform a finishing move.

If you’re in a high-pressure situation and need to eliminate the threat quickly, tap the melee button once more to neutralize the enemy.

For a more dramatic finish or to send a message to nearby enemies, hold down the melee button to perform a brutal execution.

Furthermore, If you have Proximity Chat enabled, it will automatically activate once you’ve taken an enemy as a shield. This feature allows you to hear any last words or calls for help from your opponent, adding an extra layer of psychological warfare to the encounter.

This tactic works best in situations where you’re outnumbered or need to buy time. Use it when you’re low on health or need to reload but can’t find cover.

You can still fire your weapon and move while holding the enemy, albeit with hip-fire and reduced speed. Use the moment to clear out nearby enemies, slowly advance towards full cover, or reposition yourself.

Holding onto a body shield for too long can backfire, especially if you’re being flanked. Release the shield and switch to a more offensive strategy when necessary.

If you encounter an enemy using a body shield, aim for the exposed parts of the player, usually the head or feet, or try to flank them to negate the shield’s effectiveness.
