Ministry of Community Development and Social Services has launched the fifth ministerial strategic plan and balanced scorecard for the period 2019 to 2021 after an extensive consultative process with various stakeholders.
Speaking when she launched the strategic plan minister of Community Development Kampamba Mulenga Chewe says in attaining the aspirations of the launched plan, her ministry will focus on basic social protection excellence in a bid to improve provision of basic social protection services which intern will result in reduced vulnerability among the poor.
Mrs. Chewe further says her ministry will also focus on basic social protection coordination excellence with a view to improve collaboration with stakeholders resulting into well-coordinated basic social protection services.
The strategic plan is anchored on a revised mission statement, to facilitate the provision of equitable basic social protection services for inclusive sustainable human and community development.
