“PhonoSynthesis” has arrived 🪴
The project explores the intimate relationship between sound and nature (Phonograph // Photosynthesis) and features an incredible and ambitious selection of artists including the likes of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Prefuse 73, Jon Kennedy and lots more🌳
Inspired by the likes of Mort Garson’s ‘Plantasia’, “PhonoSynthesis” features analogue synthesis interwoven with live, acoustic instrumentation and no drums throughout its entirety. The project begins and ends with solo harp, representing the cyclical nature of life, and in-between the listener is transported on a carefully curated journey over the course of fifteen tracks through synthesised and acoustic soundscapes alike 🌱
