Ready or Not is one of the requested titles players want to come to the PS5. The title by VOID Interactive provides something that players (especially me) wanted. A PvE tactical shooter, unlike that of Rainbow Six: Siege. Which went the opposite route and focused solely on a competitive experience for players. We are in a new era for gaming, where platform exclusives are slowly going away – such as Party Animals going from Xbox to PlayStation.
With that in mind, a title like Ready or Not is something that would be good to come to PS5. Many games are going to be released for the PS5, but VOID Interactive’s entry is unique. Is Ready or Not Coming to PS5?
Ready or Not may be coming to PS5 in 2025. While the details are not concrete, there was a teaser trailer for the game found for the game. What makes this unique is that it was in a folder labeled “Console Teaser.” A Reddit user by the name of throwaway19282912 shared the trailer. However, since then, it has been taken down due to a copyright claim. More than often, when this happens, it further proves the point. VOID Interactive likely had the trailer taken down as they will be releasing it themselves.
Whether or not it is soon is not certain. However, if they have a teaser trailer ready, and the game is being ported, a release could be soon. We could likely see the game drop within the year. Even before the teaser trailer leak, some of the source code for the game was leaked in 2024. Some of this had indications of a console version coming. As time has gone on, it seems to show that we can expect the game to be arriving on the current PlayStation console.
When Could We Expect Ready or Not on PS5?
When it comes to the exact time that Ready or Not may be released in 2025, there is no certainty. However, the game has been out since December 13, 2023. That much time allows for a lot of development to be done on the PS5 port of the game. While also updating the current PC version of the title. With that being said, it would not be surprising to see Ready or Not head to PS5 in the latter half of 2025. More specifically, a holiday release. This way it gives the development team more time to work on the port. Furthermore, any fine-tuning that needs to be done on the game can be.
