When moms ask me what it took to “get back” and feel like myself again postpartum…my honest answer is TIME (and if I’m honest, more time than I thought!).
Recovery takes time. Building strength takes time. Getting back to a normal sleep schedule (still working on this one honestly 😂) takes time.
It all takes time. Give yourself TIME.
For me personally – it took almost two years. And there are STILL things that don’t feel great (hi, double leg lowers!). And this is literally my full-time job!
