Booker T isn’t letting the heat from DJ Vlad go unchecked. After being called a liar on social media, the WWE Hall of Famer clapped back on April 2, 2025, dropping his own set of receipts—and this time, they’re doing the talking.

The beef started when Booker claimed on his Hall of Fame podcast that he turned down an interview with VladTV—despite being offered money. “They called me back and they offered me money to go on VladTV and I turned it down because I was not going to go on Vlad TV and be exploited,” Booker said.

DJ Vlad quickly accused him of lying and claimed Booker was actually eager to do the interview and even showed up at the studio. “Booker T is lying,” Vlad posted. “Booker was excited to do VladTV and was at the studio with our cameraman. I ran late that day, which is why the interview never happened.” But now Booker’s receipts say otherwise.

In a series of DMs shared by Booker T on X, the exchange with DJ Vlad clearly shows Vlad offering money to make the interview happen:

  • On September 9, 2020, Vlad messaged: “Let me know if you still want to do the interview. We’ve hit your guy a few times but haven’t gotten a response.”
  • On September 22, 2020, Vlad against messaged: “Let’s do a call… I want to make this right.”
  • On January 7, 2021, Vlad pushed again: “Let’s do the interview—perfect time with that song blowing up.”
  • Booker replied the next day, January 8: “Thanks but no thanks.”
  • Vlad responded: “OK fam. I’m disappointed, but I was late for the interview so I understand. Congrats on the massive success of the new song. I’m still a fan. Take care.”
  • Then on January 9, Vlad circled back with the offer that proves Booker’s claim: “What if we pay you an appearance fee?”

So yeah, Booker wasn’t lying—Vlad did offer him money, and Booker still turned it down.

This twist in the feud changes the tone of the whole story. Booker didn’t just refuse the interview—he walked away from a check to avoid being, in his words, “exploited.”

With both men now armed with screenshots and fans dissecting every message, this back-and-forth is becoming more than personal—it’s about reputation, credibility, and who’s actually telling the truth in public.

What do you think—was Booker right to put the messages out there? Should Vlad respond again or let it go? Sound off in the comments and let us know whose side you’re on.
