iciHaiti – International Friendly Football : D-1, Chile vs. Haiti

As announced, the Grenadières’ European contingent from Paris landed Tuesday in Chile at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Upon their arrival, the players and members of the coaching staff were warmly welcomed by a group of compatriots who had come to meet them.

Also present, representatives of the Haitian Chancellery took the opportunity to present a wreath to each of the players in the delegation. Ambassador Hervé Saint-Louis and Minister Counselor Woodly Simon emphasized the importance of these two friendly matches for the Haitian community in Chile, while hoping for a strong mobilization in support of the Grenadières. Speaking to “Corventina,” Ambassador Saint-Louis wished the Haitian team good luck.

Ahead of the double header against the Chilean national team, French coach Malou Quignette led the first training session on Wednesday.
