A Good Cup of Black Tea

This morning I wanted an old-fashioned cup of black tea like I used to enjoy growing up. Nothing medicinal, nothing chosen for its health benefits—although black tea definitely does have some great benefits! But that’s not what I was all about this morning! I actually avoid black tea during the work week because caffeine when combined with sweetener puts me to sleep (yeah, I know that’s backwards). But today I just didn’t care. I wanted something delicious and cozy-feeling. And that’s what I got.

My blend today with made with 1 part Organic English Breakfast, a little less than 1 part of Organic Orange Peel, and just a pinch of Organic Hibiscus to add a juicier hint of citrus than orange peel alone. After steeping 3-5 minutes, I added a little honey and 2% milk, and gave it a taste. DELICIOUS! And so relaxing and enjoyable (well, for me anyway). Highly recommend!
