Wondering how to get bot lobbies in Call of Duty: Warzone? You’re in the right place.

In Warzone, most players aim for those high-intensity, high-kill matches, but some seek an easier path by entering bot lobbies — games filled with less experienced or lower-skilled opponents.

While the game’s matchmaking system is largely based on skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), there are some methods that can help you get into easier lobbies without cheating.

Here’s a ONE Esports guide on how to increase your chances of finding bot lobbies in the popular battle royale title.

A “bot lobby” refers to a match where the average player skill level is much lower than what you’re used to, often giving the impression of playing against bots or inexperienced players.

While Warzone does not have traditional AI bots in regular modes, easier lobbies are commonly called bot lobbies.

1. Play at off-peak hours

One of the most effective ways to enter easier lobbies is by playing at non-peak hours. When fewer players are online, the SBMM system has fewer skilled players to match you against, which can lead to more relaxed lobbies.

Ideal off-peak times include early morning hours and weekdays.

2. Squad up with lower-skilled players

If you’re playing with friends who have lower skill levels or fresh accounts, this can lower the overall skill rating of your squad.

Warzone’s matchmaking system tends to average out the skill levels across the squad, so mixing a high-skill player with lower-skill players can result in easier lobbies.

When playing with low-skilled players, avoid flexing your KD ratio as SBMM may focus on the best player’s stats.

Continuously playing with the same friends can get you in high-tier lobbies eventually. Switch up your team or include more casual players to reset the SBMM.

3. Avoid high KD ratios and win streaks

SBMM in Warzone adjusts based on your performance, so having a high KD ratio or going on long win streaks will increase your chances of being placed in lobbies with more skilled players.

If you’re consistently doing well, the game will push you into harder matches. As such, you need to reset your SBMM bracket.

To do that, you have to play casually for a few matches, avoiding kills and playing for survival instead. Lower stats for several games can trick the system into placing you in easier lobbies.

Additionally, play objective modes where kills aren’t the main goal. This can help lower your overall performance metrics without intentionally throwing games.

4. Use “No Fill” option

If you’re playing solo but are tired of competitive team lobbies, consider playing “no fill” squads where you don’t have teammates.

This can help you get placed in easier lobbies since you’ll be at a disadvantage without a squad, which the matchmaking system will attempt to balance.

5. Create a new account

Creating a new account will reset your SBMM. As a new player, Warzone’s matchmaking system will initially place you in easier lobbies to gauge your skill.

However, this method comes with the risk of shadow bans or penalties for “smurfing,” so it’s not always recommended.

While there is no guaranteed method for consistently landing in bot lobbies, following these tips can increase your chances of finding less competitive matches. Be mindful of using any third-party tools or exploits, as these can result in a permanent ban.

Remember that improving your skill over time will make every lobby feel easier, so practicing and refining your tactics could ultimately be the most satisfying way to dominate in Warzone.
