What’s in My Teapot Lately?

I’ve had cravings lately for the kind of tea I drank growing up which was most often Constant Comment— a black tea with orange peel and spices. Unfortunately, I typically can’t drink that anymore so I experiment with my own no-caffeine herbal blends to combine the stress-adaptive benefits I need and the taste I crave. My favorite combination right now combines equal parts Honeybush (or Rooibos) and Holy Basil (Tulsi), 1/2 part or more Orange Peel, a 1/2 part Cinnamon, and a pinch of Hibiscus. Add honey to taste and a touch of half and half or milk.

I’m really enjoying it hot or cold.
