What Satan Wanted BADLY But Was Banned And BURNED, GOD Has Given Us ABUNDANTLY To Enjoy!
We are like GOD (Genesis 1:26-27, Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:10), we are gods (John 10:35), we are above the Angels and served by the Angels (1 Corinthians 6:3; Hebrews 1:14), we inherit all things (Revelation 21:7), and we reign with GOD on His Throne! (Revelation 3:21).

But LONG before we were created by GOD to be like Him and have these exceedingly great and precious Promises (2 Peter 1:4) through obedience, Lucifer disobediently sought to obtain same by foolish and treacherously audacious high treason, and was thrown out of Heaven.
“How you are fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of GOD; I will also sit on The Mount of the congregation on The Farthest Sides of The North; I will ascend above The Heights of The Clouds, I will be like The Most High.’” Isaiah 14:12-14.
Lucifer wanted to be above all the Angels, and like GOD. And so, being so foolish and so self-deluded to have even deceived himself, from the pre-Genesis 1:2 (pre-mankind) earth (which GOD had given him charge of), he ascended into Heaven to overthrow GOD.
( As hinted above, Lucifer had been in the earth, being in charge of the pre-Genesis 1:2 earth and its inhabitants (earthly angelic hosts. )

But he had a rude awakening when he was spectacularly cast out, and eventually cast down to sheol (Revelation 12:7-12; 2 Peter 2:4).
The amazing thing for us (who also had sinned against GOD) is that, all that Lucifer wanted BADLY through high treason, GOD has given us ABUNDANTLY through Love.
As JESUS said:
“For GOD so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten SON, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Everlasting Life.” John 3:16.
We have been made like GOD (Genesis 1:26-27), above the angels (1 Corinthians 6:3) – “and that you put on the new man which was created according to GOD, in True Righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24).
Thus, what Satan wanted badly but was banned and burned, JESUS has given us ABUNDANTLY to endure and enjoy.
As THE LORD has said,
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have Life, and that they may have It more abundantly.” John 10:10.
“But GOD, Who is rich in Mercy, because of His GREAT Love with Which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with CHRIST (by Grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in The Heavenly Places in CHRIST JESUS, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding Riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us in CHRIST JESUS.” Ephesians 2:4-7.
We are so important to GOD, so much so that, after rebelling against Him in The Garden of Eden, He came in The Flesh and took our eternal death penalty by His Death on THE CROSS, and instead, gave us HIS Eternal Life. Amazing. Exceedingly amazing. The Love of CHRIST Which passes Knowledge (Ephesians 3:19).
God SOOO LOVES us that, for our sake, because of our sin, He did to His SINLESS Son what He did to the devil and his angels when they sinned in the beginning.
“GOD did not SPARE the angels who sinned,” and He likewise “did not SPARE His own SON” — because of OUR sin! (2 Peter 2:4; Romans. 8:32).
Think about that! Thank God for that! Always.
“Behold what manner of Love THE FATHER has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of GOD! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” 1 John 3:1.
“Oh, how great is Your Goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!” Psalms 31:19.
What GOD has given us is as big as GOD; endlessly BIG. Eternally elephantine Divinely. So much so that our LORD said: “If you knew The Gift of GOD, and Who It is…” (John 4:10).
We must know The Gift of GOD and JESUS (Ephesians 1: 17-23) Whom He sacrificed for us to have Eternal Life.
In a dream some years ago, energetically gesticulating with animated joyful fervour, I was preaching to a former president of Ghana (my native country): “Do you know what JESUS means to me? All of GOD!!!!!!!!”
In JESUS CHRIST is All of GOD.
“For in Him dwells all The Fullness of THE GODHEAD Bodily,” Colossians 2:9.
Whoever has THE SON, has THE FATHER also (1 John 2:23). Because THE SON is in THE FATHER and THE FATHER is in THE SON. THE SON and His FATHER are One (John 10:30).
And, oh, we are in THE SON and THE SON is in us. Hence, we are in THE SON in THE FATHER.
JESUS Himself said so:
“At that day you will know that I AM in MY FATHER, and you in ME, and I in you.” John 14:20.
Brethren, think on the enormity of this Truth:
We are as much part of GOD as branches are part of a tree!
THE LORD proclaimed this Understanding expressly:
“I AM The Vine, you are the branches…” John 15:5.
We are the human part of GOD. We are “partakers of The Divine Nature”.
We are “a partaker of The Root and Fatness of THE OLIVE TREE” (2 Peter 1:4; Romans 11:17. JESUS is THE OLIVE TREE, THE VINE).
If we meditate on these Riches we have in GOD, we will easily praise Him.
I say again: What we have in GOD is as big as GOD.
Indeed, we have GOD Himself. We are possessors of GOD ALMIGHTY!
Hallelu-YAH! Hallelu-YAH! Hallelu-YAH!
Is not THE LORD our Portion? (Lamentations 3:24; Psalm 16:5; 73:26; 142:5).
It is our FATHER’s Good Pleasure to give US The Kingdom!
The Kingdom of CHRIST and GOD (i.e. all things) belongs to THE FATHER and THE SON.
Satan treasonously wanted The Kingdom, but was kicked out of It forever, deported and confined to the lower parts of the earth in Everlasting Fire, forever.
But in our case our FATHER is delighted and zealous to give us The Kingdom!
JESUS said It is our FATHER’s Good Pleasure that we should have The Kingdom:
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your FATHER’s Good Pleasure to give you The Kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
Look at the great goodness that is!
We have It all from GOD our FATHER: The Kingdom of GOD and ALL Its Glorious Riches.
This is The Judgement The Ancient of Days has made in our favour: To possess The Kingdom now in this time, and forever.
”But the saints of The Most High shall receive The Kingdom, and possess The Kingdom forever, even forever and ever…
…I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until The Ancient of Days came, and A Judgment was made in favor of the saints of The Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess The Kingdom,” Daniel 7:18, 21-22.
Possess The Kingdom, possess the abundance to give unto every good work (2 Corinthians 8:9; 9:8).
Ask THE LORD to show you what, where, when and how in possessing The Kingdom, in taking the land.
My beloved brethren, let us treasure The Kingdom; let us travail and triumph with this so GREAT A Salvation that we have from GOD in GOD, and not lose It.
He says:
“Behold, I AM coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” Revelation 3:11.
“But hold fast what you have till I come.” Revelation2:25.
What Satan wanted badly, GOD has given us abundantly. Let us treasure It greatly and triumph with It gloriously.
“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to The Things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if THE WORD spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so Great A Salvation, Which at the first began to be spoken by THE LORD, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, GOD also bearing witness both with Signs and Wonders, with various Miracles, and Gifts of THE HOLY SPIRIT, according to His Own Will?” Hebrews 2:1-4.
Marvellously massive and gloriously great is our Treasure in GOD: The Riches of The Glory of His Inheritance in us, The Hope of His Calling, and The Exceeding Greatness of His Power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-23).
Let us hold It all dearly and indispensably.
What Satan wanted to overthrow GOD to have, (much more than that) is what GOD has given us.
The Gift of GOD to us passes all knowledge and surpasses all understanding so much that the prophets of old inquired and searched carefully for It, or Its coming and timing; and even the angels desire to look into The Salvation GOD has given us:
“Of This Salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of The Grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST Who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST and The Glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached THE GOSPEL to you by THE HOLY SPIRIT sent from Heaven — things which angels desire to look into.” 1 Peter 1:10-12.
How shall we escape if we neglect So Great A Salvation?
Let us hold fast What we have. It is personal. Don’t let the devil the thief steal yours by your neglecting It.
Far too many are being careless with their Salvation, deserting The Straight Ways of THE LORD and indulging in the crooked ways of the world.
No matter how testing the trials and tribulations are, let us hold fast What we have.
Our Salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on The Armor of Light. Let us walk properly, as in The Day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:11-14.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
