More than 200 retired admirals and generals have endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Flag Officers 4 published a letter of endorsement, declaring that America’s “future is at stake.”
“It can be argued easily this is the most important election since our Nation was founded,” the letter says. “We are at a historic crossroad where we must either choose to stand for our Constitution and its underlying traditional values which have made America great, or we continue down the path the current administration’s top leadership is taking into the deadly abyss of socialism and authoritarian cultural Marxism.”
The letter notes that the Democratic Party has enabled the ongoing “culture war,” which “divides our citizens into conflicting groups.”
“Our national security is in serious jeopardy and our adversaries know it. As the Administration imposes divisive social engineering programs embodied in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the expense of warfighting readiness, China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and global terrorists are rapidly expanding their capabilities and aggressiveness,” the letter adds. “This did not happen during Donald Trump’s presidency.”
Several of the policies and actions listed in the letter that have damaged the United States include open borders, inflation, and Biden’s deteriorating mental state.
“We endorse Donald J. Trump for president based on his proven national security track record. His policies, coupled with his ability to implement them in the face of opposition, worked before and will work again,” the letter states.
“We must ask: ‘Is our national security stronger or weaker today than four years ago?’ The answer is clear. We urge our fellow Americans to join us in supporting the election of Donald J. Trump for president. Our future is at stake.”
