I’ve been every Saturday for the past few months. I believe them to be one of Hobart’s best. Not just because of the food, but the service. This is my run club’s go-to location after our morning session (shameless plug to Another Run Club) and the team has always treated us well. My go-to is the Mortadella. Most friends wouldn’t go past the Schnitty. Any sandwich will leave you satisfied and often needing a takeaway container because of how large the sandwiches are.
Their pastries are also heavenly. The crookies (especially the biscoff) are a perfect mix between sweet and savoury. They don’t outsource from a bakery, instead, it’s house-made. If croissants aren’t quite your thing, then the cinnamon cruller might be what you’re after. Be quick though, they’ll sell out quickly as the line can be out the door minutes after opening on some Saturdays. At least stop by for a look next time you’re in Hobart CBD.
