As part of Conferencias Caribeñas 35, sponsored by the Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras (UPR-RP), there will be a discussion of Sargasso’s most recent volume, Camps, (In)Justice, & Solidarity as well as the most recent volume of the journal Caribbean Studies. Julia Roth (Bielefeld University) will discuss the Sargasso volume and Lydia (“Puchi”) Platón (UPR-RP) will discuss the Caribbean Studies volume.
This hybrid event will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 1:00pm (AST), in Room 238 of the Ramón Emeterio Betances Building (REB 238), School of Social Sciences, UPR-RP.
