As much as I hate having these blog posts be about politics instead about emotional healing and support, there is no getting around it! What are most people worried and upset about in the United States? Politics and how it is going to affect us on all sorts of levels. And I’m not just talking about Democrats. There is a fair amount of worry and concern among Republican and MAGA voters, too!
When I asked for inner guidance as to what to recommend from my list of flower essence-based support tools, what came up was the need for emotional resilience, the ability to recover when the news is just too upsetting, and detoxing from the poisonous influence of too much shared angst or divisive manipulation either on social media, blogs, podcasts or wherever you go for news commentary. I’m not saying you shouldn’t stay informed. But there’s a meme that’s almost funny about how a person’s need to stay informed can be in conflict with the need to stay sane. You at least need to know how to stay grounded or how to return to yourself if you’ve lost your footing.
I’ve already written a lot lately about grounding:

Today I ‘m going to focus on three flower essence formulas from my list I think could help with emotional resilience and coming back to yourself when you’ve been thrown off by political stress and manipulation.
Emotional Resilience: this formula is for strengthening your ability to weather the storm especially if you are feeling depleted, over-sensitive or find yourself despairing or becoming pessimistic. It contains Larch for self-confidence and a more positive attitude combined with Yarrow for protection from negative influences, strength of aura, and emotional shielding.
Social Media Detox: is for coming back to yourself after going too deep into a social media rabbit hole and you’re feeling panicked or overwhelmed with strong emotion. In this listing I offer a couple of variations depending on your prevailing mood in addition to a base formula of flower essences for emotional recovery and calming an overstimulated and reactive mind.
Healing for Political Stress: this one combines Glassy Hyacinth (for coping with deep trauma, grief and horror), Willow (for moving beyond misery), Sweet Chestnut (for hope and strength in the midst of hopelessness and despair), Beech (for the ability to cope with what feels intolerable), and Impatiens (for patience with process and the time needed to adapt, change or oppose what is happening, or recover).

Flower essences are used to assist with mind-body-spirit interactions and individual results may vary. They are extremely dilute which makes them quite safe. But because so little physical substance can be detected in a flower essence solution, these products are presumed to work on an energetic or vibrational level—something that cannot be adequately tested by western scientific methods. Claims made by me, therefore, are based on personal experiences and the evidence of the combined multiple decades of case notes by Dr. Edward Bach as well as Healing Herbs and Flower Essence Services (the companies who make the ingredients I use in my products). This is not, however, accepted medical evidence or substantiated scientific evidence from a modern allopathic point of view. I am not a medical doctor or licensed healthcare practitioner.
