“White Noise” Event by Neg Kreyol, Inc.
February 22nd, 2014 at University of South Florida.

WHAT IS NEG KREYOL

NK is a non-profit student organization which focuses on benefiting other Haitian organizations, the Haitian Community and Haiti. Our goal is to partner with other non-profit organizations to help raise awareness and aid for Haiti.

The Motto of Neg Kreyol Inc. is “The Empowerment of Haitian Men.” Our Members gain leadership experience and a brotherhood within the organization while networking with members of other student organizations and business leaders of the community.

WHAT IS THE HAITIAN CULTURAL CLUB?

The Haitian Cultural Club, also known as HCC, is a registered school organization on the college campuses of Florida A&M University (FAMU) and Florida State University (FSU). As well as having active members from both of these campuses, we also have active members at Tallahassee Community College (TCC). Plans are in place to restore HCC’s status as a recognized student organization at TCC as well. In addition to student members, a number of university faculty and staff members, as well as alumni and members of the Tallahassee community at large are active members. In the past, HCC has also participated in events with HCC alumni living outside the Tallahassee area.

HCC welcomes members of all ages and of all racial, ethnic, national, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Meetings and other events and activities are conducted in English, but those who wish to learn or improved their knowledge of Haitian Kreyol will find opportunities to do so. HCC provides a “Haitian home away from home” for Haitian and Haitian-American members and an opportunity for others to experience first-hand the rich and vibrant culture of Haiti. HCC offers many events and activities throughout the year. Members, prospective members, and friends are invited to participate in our many events and activities.
