Worldwide: Independent brand Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 10 member properties in nine countries between October 1 and December 31, 2024.
The 10 properties add to Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ 600+ locations worldwide. The company’s CEO, Lindsey Ueberroth, said these new additions are part of the “largest year of growth since 2019”.

The new additions include:
• Gamboa Rainforest Reserve (Gamboa, Panama)
A rainforest retreat located in the Panama jungle, along the Chagres River. The property features 166 rooms. Activities include guided tram rides through the forest, kayaking on the Panama Canal and tours of Soberanía National Park.
• Hotel Magnolia (Santiago, Chile)
A historic 40-room hotel that houses a Chilean restaurant, rooftop terrace, wine cellar and library lounge. Activities close to the hotel include guided city tours and wine tastings.
• Aurika Udaipur – Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels (Udaipur, India)
A 139-room resort overlooking the ‘City of Lakes.’ The resort features a swimming pool, courtyards, terraced gardens, restaurant, bar, library and Shekhawati murals. Nearby activities include hiking, a museum and a temple.
• Hotel Kitzhof – Mountain Design Resort (Kitzbühel, Austria)
A hotel in the Austrian Alps which features 160 rooms. It offers five dining venues, a spa, indoor pool, sauna, samarium and steam room. Activities close to the hotel include skiing, hiking, lake swimming and mountain biking.
• César Lanzarote (La Asomada- Lanzarote, Spain)

• Appenzeller Huus – Huus Loewen (Gonten, Switzerland)

• Aurika Mumbai International Airport (Mumbai, India)
The 669-room hotel features a restaurant, tea lounge, spa and salon, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and recreation room. Nearby activities include a temple, caves, theatre and aquarium.
• Das Achental (Grassau, Germany)
A hotel in the Bavarian Alps, featuring 179 rooms. The hotel features restaurants, a wellness centre, golf complex, yoga, e-biking, sailing, skiing, and more.
• Hotel Las Islas (Cartagena, Colombia)
A hotel on the island of Baru, featuring 65 bungalows. The hotel includes a wellness spa, Turkish bath, sauna, pool, hot tub, scuba diving, cooking classes and tours of the nearby islands. Nearby activities include Playa Blanca and the National Aviary of Colombia.
• L’Ermitage Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, California, United States)
