* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
areas, Hardin, Massac and Pope, southwest Indiana, including the
following area, Spencer, western Kentucky, including the following
areas, Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian,
Crittenden, Daviess, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins,
Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd,
Trigg, Union KY and Webster, and southeast Missouri, including the
following areas, Mississippi and New Madrid.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with
localized higher amounts up to 5 inches possible. Soils are
already saturated across the region, so this rain will likely
lead to significant flooding concerns through the weekend.
Rises on area rivers are likely as well.
