of rain before Sunday morning. This would lead to significant flash

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, including the following
areas, Hardin, Massac and Pope, southwest Indiana, including the
following area, Spencer, western Kentucky, including the following
areas, Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian,
Crittenden, Daviess, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins,
Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd,
Trigg, Union KY and Webster, and southeast Missouri, including the
following areas, Mississippi and New Madrid.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff would result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Some areas may experience more widespread and significant flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with
localized higher amounts up to 6 inches possible. Soils are
already saturated across the region, so this rain will likely
lead to significant flooding concerns through the weekend.
Rises on area rivers are expected as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Those in the watch area should take precautions for flood
conditions. Remove debris from storm drains and clear flood prone
locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to
