Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki has owned up to the incessant passport issuance process delays by the immigration department, asking Kenyans to be a little bit patient as the government looks for a permanent solution. Kindiki who met Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u and senior immigration officers in his office, said
the immigration department would be subjected to fresh scrutiny with a view to clearing out corrupt officials.
