Apple sold 3.88 million iPhones in the three months to end September, but its full-year profits were down. That’s the first decline in over a decade and comes as figures show Samsung has increased its lead over the company in terms of smartphone sales. It’s designed to cut down on the number of heavy trucks rumbling along French roads, but has met stiff opposition in the Brittany region, where farmers and food industry workers say they will be hard hit.
